“Growing Takes Time,” an interactive performance by multidisciplinary artist Karley Wasaff, debuted at Satellite Art Gallery, a quirky and experimental space in the heart of SoHo/Lower East Side known for its immersive and genre-blurring events.

The piece explored themes of growth and hardship, unraveling through an hour-long rotational performance that combined grappling movements inspired by jiu jitsu with surreal, plantlike costuming influenced by Pikmin.
